LaGuardia Job Site Visit
NYS LECET together with the Greater New York LECET held a job site visit that brought together all the locals on the job in solidarity to discuss the project and the importance of safety for the workers on the site.
Phase Two of the $8 billion LaGuardia Airport reconstruction project began work this past Summer. The end result of the construction will welcome 50 million tourists a year to New York will help the economy and offer good union jobs. At the visit over 275 members from Local 79, 731, 1010 and the Concrete Workers District Council came together.
Officials from the locals, including Carmine D’Amato, Keith Loscalzo and Mike Prohaska, were on hand to speak to members and to stress the importance of the job to the members.
