NYSLOF & Local 210 Stay Strong on the Picket Line

For the past four weeks in Buffalo NY, Laborers’ Local 210 and NYSLOF have been participating in a job action against Uniland, a developer, at the new Catholic Health Administration building. The action has gone well as there has been between 75-100 folks on the picket line every day and because we’ve been able to win one of our contractors a piece of the job so our Laborer brothers and sisters can go to work. Some of our brothers and sisters with the Operating Engineers, Local 17, have been able to go to work as well as a result of the job action. The action has been a big success and we don’t plan on stopping anytime soon!
