Victory for the AIM Project

The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) issued an order issuing a certificate for Spectra Energy's Algonquin Incremental Market (AIM) Project stretching from New York through Connecticut, Rhode Island and Massachusetts.
The New York Department of Environmental Conservation still has to issue permits to Spectra Energy for work in the state and sign off on a construction timeline from FERC once an environmental and property mitigation plan is in place.
